Stewardship is not part of the Christian life - it IS the Christian Life!
Biblical Stewardship Seminar
Fun, educational and informative, this seminar is designed to teach biblical principals from a practical standpoint. Very interactive, the
seminar is designed to draw the participants in by looking at real world issues involving many families today.
Session One- we look at three men in scripture that today would be considered leaders of their community. By taking a close look at
these men we realize that material wealth is not necessarily a blessing from God.
Session two - we take the student deeper into the role of a steward. Each student is taught what the heart of a steward should be, the
three ways God views us as stewards and how God wants a deep relationship with each of us. We bring in several scriptures to show
that stewardship also involves the way we treat our spouse, loved ones, employers and employees as this all has an impact on how God
views us as stewards.
Session Three - We take a deep look into the financial aspect of a Steward. Biblical verses are examined to see what God truly has to
say about money and possessions. Discovering that financial peace is something that God wants for all of us is uncovered and prayer is
offered for financial peace in the home. True biblical meanings of satisfaction, security and significance are examined.
Session Four - Examines Gods view of debt. Problem areas such as credit card, automobile and home ownership are taught with good
practical guidance for avoiding many of the pitfalls.
Session Five - Provides the four essential steps needed in preparing the heart and soul for any major change in life.
Session Six -Practical steps are taught to building a family budget. Students are taught to examine ways to get out of debt in this very
interactive and fun session. Debt elimination is explained in great detail and taught in a way to encourage each person attending to see
how Gods economy is in sharp contrast to the words present idea.
Session Seven-Brings the seminar to a close and allows for questions that may have not been asked during the seminar. The seminar
closes in prayer.
